Hindu Temple of Rochester

Hindu Temple of Rochester (HTOR) is a volunteer-driven, community-supported, non-profit organization. HTOR promotes and practices the ideals of Hindu religion through worship and education.

Services

A vital mission of a community organization is to actively support and enhance the quality of life of our local community and beyond. Temple constantly seeks to expand our Hinduism and Community Services Programs.

Religious

Temple performs various Pujas, celebrates major Hindu Festivals/Events and offers private pujas for all life-events and celebrations.

Education

Temple conducts various Hinduism, Cultural, Language and Health educational programs for Kids, Youth and Adults.

Interfaith / Outreach

Temple offers various Interfaith programs to Schools/Collages and other interfaith institutions.

Hall Reservation

Temple offers full banquet facility rental services for individual, private and community events.

Kitchen

Temple Kitchen has a full-fledged kitchen to cook Mahaprasads, and any community / private catering needs of 'satvik' food.

The Mission & Vision of the Hindu Temple of Rochester is to preserve, educate and provide service support for the Religious, Humanitarian and Cultural norms of Hinduism by worship of the Supreme Being, represented by Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva, Vedas’ Gods or their avatars.
